    Article II                                                                   

    Classroom  Procedures

    • Before entering the classroom, I will have:

      • Pens, pencils, highlighters 

      • Binder

      • Chromebook and charger 

      • Planner

      • Assignments due 

     

    • Upon entering the classroom, I will :

      • Sit down quietly

      • Place completed assignments in established class HW  trays

      • Begin working on assigned Do Now 

     

    • Upon completion of my work I will:

      • Be able to use the  alternate sources of information within the classroom,

    Which will further their understanding of  subject content







    • Students who have a question or comment that is relevant to the lesson must raise their hand in order to be recognized.

     

    • Students are to raise their  hands in order to leave their assigned seats.

      • Exclusions include sharpening pencils  and retrieving a tissue

     

    • Bathroom breaks:

      • Are granted during the first few and last few minutes of class - if time permits

      • Requests are at teachers discretion

      • Students must sign in and out of the classroom in the class  sign out book. Located by the classroom door.

    • At the conclusion of class I will :

      • Ensure I have all of my materials 

      • Ensure I have posted assignments in my agenda book 

      • Clean up debris around my desk

    1.1 to 1 ½ inch binder                                                          

    2. 4  dividers   - Do Now, class notes/vocabulary/homework/grade check                              3. Highlighter/ pen/ pencil

    Homework

    • Complete homework on a timely basis.

     

    “I MISSED SCHOOL...OH NO… WHAT DO I DO?”

    • Missed assignments can be found in assignment drawers. Please 

    pick up your make-up work from the bins.

    • I recommend you use an agenda book to copy down homework assignments.

    • Check my website for missed assignments due to your  absence.

    • During this time of change in our classroom environment, you will be given extra time if needed.   Homework is due the following day, unless a note is provided by the parent.

    • 20% Course Participation

    • Communication is a key tool to success, parent/guardian communication is welcomed. 

    • Please visit google classroom  for important events and homework assignments.

    • Please maintain this constitution in the front of your Social Studies binder
