¡Hola!

My name is Lisa Flores and I am very excited to be working with you all this school year. I believe that knowing a second language, specifically Spanish, is imperative for success in this day and age. I teach my students to understand the logic behind the language so that even if they are short on vocabulary, they can work out quite a bit. In my class, students will also learn about the cultures, countries and peoples associated with the Spanish language. My lessons are infused with technology and internet activities as well as hands on learning. I created a page for each grade and linked resources to practice vocabulary. 

Class Supplies: All students will need a pencil. I will supply students with a folder and paper.

5th Grade: In 5th grade, students will be introduced to Spanish through such topics as Greetings/Goodbyes/Courtesy, Numbers/Date/Time, and Seasons/Weather. 

6th Grade: In 6th grade, students will build upon what they learned the previous year in Spanish. They will cover such topics as Our Family, Foods, and Body/Clothing.
