• Month by Month curriculum

      We will meet a minimum of once per month. Each meeting will consist of a lesson pertaining to the species available at that time of year, club business, and fishing reports by the members. Guest speakers will be invited at times as well.

      Theme Months: species to highlight:
      Each species is unique unto itself. Each lesson will consist of but not be limited to, its biology, its niche, the place in the food chain and its feeding habits. Also pertaining to how tides and/or winds effect them being caught. And its relevance to our trips

      September: Weakfish

      Oct: Sea Bass

      Nov: Bluefish/Striped bass

      Dec: BHS hosting Fishing Flea Market Dec 14, 2019 8-2pm

      Jan: Tackle Maintenance

      Feb: Winter Flea Markets / Seminars

      March: Pickerel/Winter Flounder

      April: Atlantic Mackerel/ Trout

      May: Blackfish (Tautog)

      June: Bluefish/ Fluke
