In intro cs we begin the year learning about computer hardware and basic maintenance and repair. This will include opening up a computer and learning about each major component. Students will also set up a wireless router and network computers together. From there we will investigate the very important aspects of cyber security including password protection, virus and malware scanning, and how to access information about your computer. Next we will create websites from scratch using HTML and CSS. Then we will conclude the year with a dive into programming, creating multiple video games to learn the basics of coding.
