Multimedia Applications

This course is a hands-on experience promoting rapid learning and skill development.  Upon completion, students will have the necessary skills to create their own basic web sites.  Students will gain an in-depth experience with HTML 5 and CSS 3.  Students will also learn to create interactive web experiences using the Javascript language.  HTML and CSS partner together to make web pages useful and visually appealing.  Javascript introduces students to basic programming logic, allowing them to create digital art and animations.  Topics covered include text, images, links, online forms, styled page layouts, event handlers, loops, and arrays.  Students will be exposed to computer science and design thinking at the high school level, challenging them to think and solve problems in new ways.
