• I have been a teacher in Bergen County for 10 years and have recently relocated to the Barnegat area to be closer to my family. I have taught US History, APUSH, History Through Film, and historical law and justice courses during my time as a teacher. I have also coached soccer and tennis and was the adviser to my school's newsmagazine and student council.

During my time in education I have been selected to the Bergen County Valedictorian Breakfast 3x as a teacher of honor, have advised our school newsmagazine to 10 consecutive top 50 rankings in the nation, have won league / conference championships as a coach, and have spoken at our school's graduation, top-10 dinner, and scholarship night. I have been a member of the school's I&RS team and have worked to find means to address and help our most at-risk students.

I am a graduate of Ramapo College where I received my degree in history and secondary education and also was a member of the soccer team. I also hold a masters degree in educational technology and hold 30+ masters credits in history. I have presented original works at the National History Honor Society conference and graduated with honors.

I enjoy traveling, surfing, fitness, cycling, and good food.

Most importantly, I am excited to be here at BHS and hope to bring my knowledge, experience, and expertise from my years of teaching to the students and community in Barnegat.
