Dear Donahue Family,

It is my honor to serve as the principal of the Joseph T. Donahue School where we believe every student can learn and grow. 

Working with the transition from learning to read to reading to learn, our Vision is:

Our Mission is to inspire our team to make a positive impact in each students’ life by nurturing relationships, cultivating pillars of character, and creating lifelong learners who are empowered to be responsible and engaged citizens

In order to achieve our mission, we are working to build a sense of community where we plan and collaborate on programs and events that will foster the social and emotional growth of our youth and promote academic achievement to the best of each student’s ability. I truly hope you will be part of this process. 

While in school, we will encourage our mission using Bengal tickets through our Donahue INSPIRES program:

Moreover, our staff is committed to creating a healthy environment and facilitating a culture of learning where students can learn and grow both academically and emotionally. We also recognize that student success is correlated with active parent/guardian involvement. To that end, there are many ways to be involved, such as joining the P.T.A., attending school events, and communicating with your child’s teacher, school counselor, child study team members, and administrators.
