**Congratulations once again to the Brackman Jazz Ensemble.The band was invited to participate in the Mainland Jazz Festival in Linwood last Friday.At the Festival the band received a Silver Rating. In addition: Xavier Kunzel, Emma Rollis, Melaina Warner, Aubry Blasi, Michael Mangum, and Ryan DiCaro received the award for Best Rhythm Section.Finally, Elijah Piercin was recognized as the top soloist on Tenor Sax.Congratulations on a yet another fantastic and award-winning performance!

Girls Softball battled TR East in a competitive B game matchup thru the raindrops yesterday. Lexi Bucior pitched well in her first outing, getting stronger as the game progressed. Elayna Ordonez had a huge game knocking in 3 runs and threw out 2 runners stealing from behind the plate. RBI hits by Tessa Kelly, Sky Garcia-Fermin and Emery Dobbin

Congratulations to our Brackman Middle School Jazz Ensemble, who competed on Friday in the Southern Regional Jazz Festival.
The band received the highest honor of a GOLD rating.
In addition:
Abigail D’Andrea
Connor Meehan
Cameron Lizaire
Jonathan Schmidt
Logan Bodziak
and Jayson Leonhardt
were all recognized ast the best trumpet section of the evening.
And finally, Elayna Ordonez received the top Saxophone soloist of all competing bands.
The band will continue to compete throughout the spring, including at the Mainland Jazz Festival on April 12th, and at 6 Flags on May 17th.
They will also be hosting their own local Jazz Showcase here at Brackman on April 11th, which will feature a special performance by the professional Brass Tacks Orchestra!
