Welcome to the Joseph T. Donahue School. My name is Mrs. LaDuca and I am a a special education teacher here at school. 

Here is a little about me.  I graduated from the College of St. Elizabeth's in Convent Station, NJ where I received my BA in Elementary Education and Psychology.  I then attended Kean University where I received my Special Education certification. I have been in Education for 20 years and I have taught both regular education classes as well as special education classes. I have also been trained to work with strategic reading interventions to help our struggling readers.  I just love what I do! 

I  have been married for 26 years.  My husband is the Athletic Director at Point Pleasant Beach Schools.  We have four children of our own.  My oldest daughter is 24. My oldest son is 22, my youngest son is a junior in college and I also have a daughter who is 8 and in third grade.  My kids are very involved in soccer and we spend a lot of weekends watching them play.

A few more things you might not know about me:  I have a very cute dog named Brody and two new puppies, Ellie (a rescue) and Bruno.  My favorite color is blue.  I love to ride my bike both indoors and outside and love to go camping in our RV with my family.  I used to be an All State pitcher and soccer player, and I make great hot wings and chili! (just ask any of my former students!)
