Meet Mrs. Schierenbeck!
Greetings Bengals! I'm Ms. Schierenbeck! I have taught Social Studies for the past 16 years here at the high school. In 2016-2018, I was on sabbatical working towards my Ph.D. in American History & African American History, a topic that I am most passionate about.
I am excited to be back here in the Great State of New Jersey! When I'm not reading, living, and learning about history, I love to spend time traveling, (this past summer I went to Key West and loved learning about Ernest Hemingway, Truman, and of course, the Heminway cats!), going to the beach, walking my rescue pup Wilfred, and as listening to classic rock (the only boss I listen to is Springsteen) on vinyl.
