• Barnegat High School is a comprehensive community public high school that serves students in ninth through twelfth grades from Barnegat Township, in Ocean County, New Jersey.

    Barnegat High School opened in September 2004 with only an incoming freshman class. In subsequent years, additional classes were added and the school presented its first graduating class in 2008.

    The curriculum at Barnegat High School is robust and well-rounded.  In addition to the state required graduation requirements, students may take elective courses in every subject area.  In addition to the college prep and honors classes, students at Barnegat High School may also take one of nineteen AP courses.

    In addition to curricular offerings, Barnegat High School offers its students over thirty extracurricular clubs and twenty-nine varsity-level sports.
