• Hi!  I am so excited to teach you this year! I grew up in Barnegat; CSCS, ROBMS, SRHS (this was way before there was a BHS) then went to Rutgers University for my undergrad, where I studied Chemistry. I earned my master's degree from Saint Peter's College in Educational Leadership.

I have been in education for 15 years.  I first taught in Bayonne, NJ at Marist High School, where I taught Biology and Chemistry, and coached cheer, before taking a job as an Assistant Principal of Academics for a school year.  I missed the classroom, needed a change, so my husband (boyfriend at the time) and I sold all we owned, bought an RV and drove across the country to San Diego, where we then lived for 8 years.  There, I taught Algebra I, Earth Science, Biology and Chemistry at an alternative high school called Montecito HS before transitioning to the traditional high school in the district, Ramona High School.  There I taught AP and general Chemistry, and Physics for a year and coached girls' lacrosse my entire time there.  I am now back in NJ, "home," and am excited to be a Barengat Bengal!

I now live back in NJ with my husband, daughter and dog.

I truly believe that anyone can learn chemistry and physics (if they are willing to try) and am always here if you need any help.  Looking forward to a great year!
